relating Sullivan heights to Rwanda
I am relating the subject of Rwanda to sullivan by the groups that are formed everyday in this community. In the school there are the normal groups you think of and not many conflicts here other then the one or two "fights" that happen... there are no fights here XD. the amount of so called fights here are people just threatening one another and pepper spray being pulled because people are chicken and wont fight but if they do there are like 10 other people at the scene that really don't need to be. And I will say those people are most like the belgians just making the situation worse then it needs to be. But this school is good with the groups all getting along to the best of their ability. but as i said the "fights" at sulli are mostly verbal and nothing more. not much is alike between the two but the teachers do act like the UN at times help splitting up conflicts that do pop up every once and awhile. But they are very much like the UN because they can only really help with the matters within the school and cant do much about the outside matters without consent of other outside people.

A song Relating to the theme of the movie
I am picking the theme of violence.
the song Violence (enough is enough) By: a day to remember
in the pre chorus and chorus they talk of the people outside (ie the UN) and how they cant see that the problem at hand really has meaning.Cause they say we're the worthless ones, could mean the tutsis or the hutus are taking control over the one side. because they were both in charge at some point in time.
Lyrics:
So when the world outside can't see what's wrong and right.
People can't understand the reasons that we fight.
Somethings gotta give.
Violence give me violence,
Cause they say we're the worthless ones.
Substance give me substance.
lies the crown as I cut you down
You can call this a warning. It's a warning
that we're drowning in our malcontent.
Tear me down like a cancer, what's your answer?
We're different and it makes you sick.
- you can call this a warning. its like the propaganda from the hutu radio
-tear me down like cancer. because the hutus thought the tutsis were lower then cockroaches
- Were different and it makes you sick. the grand relationship between the hutus and tutsis.
*I do not own this song, nor take credit for creating it, all rights go to A Day to Remember and their respected labeling and marketing corporations*
this song relates to me because of only like 3 lines which are
Always searching for the bright side to find the strength for when I fall
I'm still believing that life has a meaning.
Can't cope with things that there's not.
I like to always find the bright-side of thing when life sucks which can be a lot.
and i like to believe that life does have meaning so its not completely useless.
and thats about it.
